Heering cherry brandy liqueur is made to a traditional recipe of 1818 using only natural ingredients, with no additives or artificial colorings and all cherries are grown in Denmark where the liqueur is produced. After harvesting, the cherries are crushed and mixed with spirits, sugar and spices and then matured for 3 years in their cellars in Dalby. Its dark red color and flavor of black-cherries is not overly sweet making it ideal to be served on its own, with or without ice, or as a mixer in cocktails and long drinks such as the world-famous Singapore Sling.
