VSOP stands for Very Superior Old Pale. This cognac is made from wines from two regions in the Champagne region of France - grande champagne and petite champagne - and is aged eight to twelve years. It is gold-caramel colored, warm and delicate, has complex aroma of oak and spice and opens on the palate to reveal its true depth with almonds, vanilla and floral notes.
